We’ve been staying busy!
This past weekend Katelyn, Ellie and I went to the Oakland Zoo and had
fun watching all the animals, especially the chimps. The chimps were
pretty active, swinging from the roof, climbing the walls, they are a
pretty entertaining bunch. Later on Ellie saddled up next to a goat for
a little rest.
After the zoo we picked up Steph (she
had to work so she missed out on all the animal fun) and went to Grandma
Flo and Grandpa Herbie’s house for dinner. Mike and Uncle Steve joined
us for corned beef and cabbage. YUM!!! But before dinner, there was
some bubble-blowing that had to be done in the backyard.
Ellie has also discovered the great
outdoors, or at least the backyard. She enjoys doing yard work if it
means finding a ladybug or even a lizard. All of this to the dismay of
Steph who just rolls her eyes when she looks outside and sees her little
Princess playing in the mud. Now that’s funny!
And getting ready for our trip to
Disneyland Ellie is learning all about the Disney characters, right now
she is on a little bit of a Snow White kick and is enjoying that.
