Cooperstown Trip Day 2

Day 2 didn't start as early as day 1, and I'm very thankful for that.

The boys got a big win in their early game, then fell to the eventual #1 seed, CBA Marlins. But we had a shot, even with an inning that we puked all over ourselves, we had bases loaded in the last inning and Sean, who had already hit 3 home runs on the day, was up to the plate. He scorched one, but was caught by the SS and the game was over. But in the first 4 games, the boys have 2 twins, and in the two losses they've had a shot right down to the last batter.

So far it has been a really good trip. The boys are playing great baseball. The weather has cooperated and we haven't had any of the dreaded rain storms that force delays. Plus, not too hot and humid. The boys seem to be having a great time together as well.

2-2 and on to day 3. The top 24 teams get a bye on Wednesday, so if we get two wins on Monday we might be in the mix for a bye. Which would be huge. Tuesday the other 50+ teams will battle it out in single elimination and the top 8 from those teams will advance to Wednesday. All the teams with a bye go straight to Wednesday.
