We made it.
A quick hour and a half drive from Niagara Falls to Toronto, Canada.
We were able to get into the Rogers Center Hotel (formerly the SkyDome Hotel) early, and Lukas was really excited.
All during the week at Cooperstown the parents asked, "Is Lukas always this even-keeled?" "Is Lukas always this chill?" Well, the cool shell finally cracked when we walked in and the hotel front desk said our room was ready and we could go up. He was REALLY excited to get up and see the room.
He was bouncing off the walls all game, just super excited to watch the game from the room.
The Jays rewarded him with a 9th inning walkoff win, so game 1 of the MLB part of the road trip is in the books. 6-5 Blue Jays win over the Rangers.
