Lots going on

Well, St. Mary’s is marching on to the Sweet 16!  It took 50 years to win one game in the NCAAs, now they’ve won 2 in 3 days.  And if emotion and momentum mean anything, they got a great chance against Baylor.  Exciting stuff!

Elizabeth has been pretty active lately, she’s enjoying kicking the soccer ball around in the backyard.  Just need to teach her that you kick a soccer ball, and shoot a basketball.  But we’ll get it.

Katelyn picked a great day to have her personal best.  At the state gymnastics meet she took home two 2nd places (Bars and Beam) and two 3rds (Floor and vault).  She finished 4th overall by 1/100 of a point, but still plenty to qualify for Western regionals in Long Beach.

Katelyn hasn’t been practicing in the gym, she’s found that 80s relic, the Rubix Cube....and figured it out.  It took her a long time, but it was done.  I guess she can cross that off her list of things to do.

Earlier in the weekend Ellie and I stopped by America’s Tires to get some new tires on the Aveo.  Ellie brought along her buddy Bauer stuffed animal, and thought it was a good day for a hat.

And prior to taking off for Oroville for Katelyn’s state gymnastics meet, we made a stop at Starbucks.  Check out who’s getting hooked already.
