Mom and dad
held their annual bocce ball tournament last weekend, so it was a
weekend in Oakdale. However Steph had to work (and actually ended up
working a double shift on Saturday) so she couldn’t partake in the fun.
I didn’t do to well either. I was partnered with Sharon, who had been
to the finals the past 4 or 5 years, but this year she got ousted
early. I have to take some of the blame since I think only scored 2 or 3
points.
But being out in Oakdale meant that Ellie and Hannah got to hang out, and we got to see Freddy. Ellie had a great time.
While we were out in Oakdale, Katelyn made her audition reel to be the 49ers Total Access Jr. Co-host. It turned out pretty well.
Also, we planted a little garden a few weeks ago. Three rows of corn, a few watermelon plants and two tomato plants. We’ve been watering it and then yesterday we just noticed that the corn had sprouted!!! So that was cool. Then I saw one of the watermelons popped through the dirt. So, it looks like we may have some corn and watermelons in a couple months (pictures coming soon).
