Memorial Day Weekend

The three-day Memorial Day weekend was packed with activities.  Steph’s sister Marlo and her husband Greg were in town for a wedding so we were able to spend some time with them on Saturday when the got in.  Had lunch at Santana Row and got a cupcake from Kara’s.

Sunday we had a surprise party for grandma Audrey’s 80th birthday, and it seems to have come off well.  She was genuinely surprised, which was tough considering the amount of people that had to be coordinated.  Aunt Judy and Shelby came in from Arizona.  Uncle Steve and Aunt Mary flew in from Hawaii and Stephanie Greer came in from Idaho.  Lots of people came in, and it was great to see everyone.   There are lots more pictures on my facebook page, or if you would like a full CD, just let me know.

On the Saturday before the party, after lunch with Marlo and Greg, we went over to the park and fired off a bunch of pictures.  Those are here.

Katelyn is still in the running for her 49er gig, but no word yet.  Hopefully this week.

Me, Steve and Bob went to the Giants v D-backs game and had outstanding seats, about 6 rows behind the plate.  We may have been closer to the plate then the pitcher.  Giants won, and Matt Cain threw a 1-hitter. One hit, so close to a no-no.

The Sharks got ousted in four games by the Blackhawks, which was another disappointing exit from the playoffs.

Cody Foster, my very first pick as a little league manager, helped Ohlone College win the JC State title.
I know there has been more, but I’m so exhausted from the weekend I can’t think of anything else.
