Early March and a
lot is going on. First off, Steph's feeling good, although she'll tell
you that she's ready for the pregnancy to be over. That's not to say
she's ready for the baby to be here, just that she's ready to be done
being pregnant. She's been going through a ton of Ellie's old clothes
to sell/donate/give away and man is it A LOT. But things are starting
to come together, purging old girl stuff, collecting new boy stuff (I
wonder how quickly I could put an addition on this house? Because the
stuff just keeps on growing.)
In Ellie news, she started
her first gymnastics class and had A LOT OF FUN. But what I think she
loved even more then the class, was wearing her new leo.
On the relaxing front,
which there seems to be increasing little of, I'm enjoying the college
basketball season. St. Mary's has another strong team this year,
although they just lost to Gonzaga in the WCC Championship game. Got
about 26 wins this year, but Selection Sunday is going to be tense.
They started out really hot, then hit the skids with losses to San Diego
(who had 1 WCC win at the time), a loss in a Bracket Buster Game to
Utah St. and a third loss to Gonzaga at home. So it was a tough
stretch. But they did finish tied for the conference championship and
got to the tourney finale, plus the bracketologists have them in the
NCAAs right now, so I got my fingers crossed for a trip to the Big
Dance.
On a side note, since I
just went out to the garage to get a gallon of milk, how does a
3-year-old drink so much milk. Before Ellie was born we had a gallon of
milk for about 10 days. Now we are going through 2 gallons a week.
CRAZY!
Katelyn has her final meet
before States this coming weekend near Sacramento, which means we'll
hopefully get a chance to see Jenn & Jon. And we'll for sure get to
see Bob, Beth and the kids since Steph ordered some Girl Scout cookies
from Zoe.
Finally, had a couple
birthday celebrations this past weekend. Ellie's friend Leah turned 3,
so it was a full afternoon of Little Gym and then cake. Followed by
grandpa's 84th birthday dinner in Fremont.
