Summer is here

OH, there is a lot going on.

Father’s day (photo above) was good.  Played 18 at the OGCC with dad (actually we played 15 because we had to skip the first three when they skipped calling us to the tee box). I played not bad.  Had a 115, which was about 4 strokes better then earlier in the week when we played at Santa Clara.  I had some nice drives and tee shots, but my game inside of 100 yards was TERRRRRIBLE!
Before I went back to work we were able to do some fun stuff.  Sky High with Katelyn and Ellie. Met the Hsu’s in Santa Cruz for some fun on the beach.

Jerry and I also hit the Super Regionals for a College World Series.  Cal was playing Dallas Baptist at Santa Clara. I took Ellie, and she had fun once we got in, which was an adventure in itself. We thought we’d get tickets when we got there, but as it turns out they were sold out. So we stood around for a while.  A guy offered me a kids ticket first, so I took it.  Then Jerry overheard a guy talking with a buddy who wasn’t going to make it, so we bought that one.  And a few minutes later a guy saw us all standing around and said he had one more ticket and wanted to make sure Ellie got in to see the game.  So we made it in!

Leo and Doloris are here visiting, and besides the TV somehow ending up on FOX News, everyone is having a great time.  Ellie is keeping Leo on his toes, but they are having tons of fun. I had to head back to work on the 20th, so they’ve been hitting Happy Hallow, the park and all kinds of fun places.
On the 22nd, Steph and I celebrated our 9-year anniversary.  Pretty quiet, but we did grill-up some steaks and went to see The Hangover 2 (not bad, but like everyone has said, very similar to the 1st).

Lukas is doing great.  He just hit the one month mark and he’s doing everything you’d expect.  Eating a lot. Sleeping a lot.  Pooping, yes you guessed it, a lot.
We are getting ready for a possible trip up to the Lake for the 4th of July.  It’s gonna be an adventure if we go.  Kristin and Jason will be up there with the kids, so all the kids and grandkids will be up there for the first time all together.
Went to see Cars 2, not bad.  Not nearly as good as the first, but still not bad. . . One month down and Lukas is already out of newborn diapers and into ones. . .Had the Packard 20th anniversary party, LOTS of people. . .
