After a momentary break (in the grand scope of the
universe, that’s what 14 months between blog posts can be called) I’m back. But
as I’m sure you can surmise, a momentary break can come at any time.
When we last checked in Ellie was had been promoted from
preschool, Lukas had just turned 1 and Katelyn was grinding though high school.
Well, as you all of no doubt experienced, time moved quickly. Ellie has since
entered and graduated from Kindergarten. She’s in her 2nd year at
St. Justin’s (Kinder and now 1st grade). Lukas has sprouted, and is
in full, stereotypical boy mode. There isn’t a toy truck he finds that he won’t
crash into, or a ball that he won’t pick up and fling as far as he can. Katelyn
entered her senior year in high school and knocked it out of the park. She’s
now in her 3rd week as a freshman at UC Irvine.
While there were many, many highlights over the past
year, it’s probably more enjoyable to see some of the events, rather than read
about them. So here are a few highlights. And while I make no promises, an
effort will be made to keep up TeamKleinheinz. Because as I continue to get
older (still no medication to reverse that process right?) the memories blend
together and tend to fade quicker.
