It turned into an old school beat down, the likes the Super Bowl hasn’t seen since the Niners crushed the Broncos 55-10. But the Seahawks win over the Broncos wasn’t the reason Super Bowl 48 will always be remembered in our household.
We were hosting the Super Bowl party this year, but instead of preparing all the food and drinks we were in the emergency room a couple hours before kickoff. Lukas went super daredevil with a twisting, jump backwards and landed with his elbow tucked under his body. The end result, a broken humorous.
Thanks to a quick x-ray, and a quick splint we were back home shortly before 3, just before everyone arrived. Lucky for us our friend Bob came over early, in fact just minutes after Lukas cracked his arm. He took over the prep work and had things under control. Huge Thanks Bob!
So Mr. Lukas now has a Hulk-like green arm (cast). He thinks it’s cool. So that’s all that counts.
But back to the Super Bowl party for just a minute. One of the things that kept an otherwise boring Super Bowl somewhat interesting were the parlay cards. Yep, we had parlay cards.
