Got
a chance to host Steph’s friend Shaina and her husband Gabe. They were visiting
from Denver, so we took the opportunity to venture over to Half Moon Bay to see
the Elephant Seals at Ano Nuevo State Park.
Fun
drive. Once we got to Half Moon Bay we took a left for about 30 minutes. Parked
the car and hiked along the trails and sand dunes for 2 miles and got a chance
to view a bunch of elephant seals, including a few teenagers seals (of course
they teenagers) wrestling barking at each other.
It
was a really good hike, and at the beginning of the hike was a path to the
beach, which was absolutely empty. Might be a good place to take photos, or
just enjoy the beach. Granted, it was empty because it was November, but still,
seems like a nice little hidden spot.
