Concert Season Has Ended, But Not Without A Full Meal

For Isela's birthday we got tickets to see Dan + Shay at Chase Center in SF. The concert was on a Wednesday so Cesar and I had the great idea of having dinner at House of Prime Rib before the concert.

Once the logistics of getting the kids watched was taken care of, dinner and the show were great. Early seating at HOPR, king cut of perfectly cooked prime rib, creamed spinach, couple of cocktails and the evening could have ended there and been great.

We took Lyft over to Chase Center since we all took the train up to The City, which was actually pretty easy. Caltrain from Santa Clara to SF, only an hour on a train with limited stops. The show was good, and Dan + Shay certainly had the most females at their show compared to all the other shows we saw this year. It had to be 75% females.

Couple notes for Chase Center. How do you not have Tito's Vodka. You have 7-10 types, but no Tito's. No Trulys. No White Claw. Limited whiskey. Come on!

After the show, the rain had started, which for most would seem like a non-weather event for the middle of October, but this may have been the first rain in about 8-9 months. So water falling from the sky seemed unusual.

We made our way on the the Metro from Chase to the Caltrain station, jumped on the 11:00 train, and made it back, albeit tired, to Santa Clara.

Another concert season in the books, capped off with a top level dinner. Perfecto!
