In other new items. Ellie finished her Field Hockey season. It was a lot of fun, and learning. She ended up playing some defense, but mainly goalie. She said she had a great time and is looking forward to playing again next year. I guess I'll have to keep learning the rules.
But, just because field hockey has ended, doesn't mean the sports calendar does. Ellie and Steph take off for Lake Placid tomorrow for a week of luge training. This will be a big test as it is the first week that she'll be gone from high school, so balancing the school work, and the training will be a challenge.
We did get news that US Nationals will be in Park City, UT this year. So a shorter flight, and a track that Ellie has a little experience on. She did a week of training there during COVID.
