Homecoming and a 49er Game in a Monsoon

Ellie has got to have a pretty normal freshman year. Which is awesome. She got to have another normal high school experience this past weekend when she attended the Homecoming Dance. Her and a group of field hockey players, and some dates, all got dressed up and enjoyed a night out. 

She actually got little lucky with everything since she was slated to have a softball tournament this weekend in Salinas, but because of rain coming into the area, that got cancelled. 

Speaking of that rain, it started slow, but pretty soon came down in buckets, and while it was a good thing for Ellie since she got to go to homecoming without any conflicts with softball, Lukas and I were right in the middle of it when we attended the 49er game on Sunday Night. 

It was his first game in a couple years, so he was pumped to go. We got the parkas and got to Levi's in plenty of time to watch warmups. The end result was a frustrating 49er loss, but Lukas had a blast, so that was the big win.
