Well, it took two years, but COVID finally hit the house. Steph picked up the nasty bug and has been locked in the bedroom for a little more than a week. Thankfully she's not feeling too terrible. Headache, tired, cough, but that's it. The rest of us are just keeping our distance and trying not to catch it. Especially Ellie and I since we leave for NY in a couple days.
Lukas is the busiest of us all. He is playing basketball for school, but no one is allowed to watch the games so no pictures or anything. Can't even see him play, which is a SUPER bummer. He also had tryouts for Westside and is also still getting work with Living Legends. Plus, he's supposed to start roller hockey. He was going to play in December and January, but the league didn't have enough kids, or something, so he got pushed out. We'll see how tired he is when all of these sports start to collide.
I mentioned Ellie and I will be in NY. She has a week of training with the D Team, then will compete in the Empire State Games. Then, she'll stay for an additional week to train with the C Team. Very excited for her to get back out on the ice.
After 5 months of having a piece of plywood on the front windows, our new windows finally arrive and have been installed. So nice to have the bright light back in the living room.
Finished the latest season of Yellowstone...awesome. Finished the latest season of Ozark...awesome. Watching 1883...awesome. Working my way through Succession...awesome.
Next stop, Lake Placid, NY. Brrrrrr!
