Plenty going on in January, starting with using and enjoying all the gifts that the kids got for Christmas. Lukas had a very interesting Christmas list this year, including wanting his own tool belt. So, first chance he got to put it on and do some work, he did. I think he just likes walking around with a hammer on his belt.
Lukas also got ticket to see the Harlem Globetrotters and sat in the first row. The Globetrotters put on a great show -- lots of dunks, lots of 4 point baskets, some tricks shot, fancy dribbling, everything you'd expect. After the show, the kids got to go around the court and get autographs, which was a huge highlight.
But there is work to get done in January, baseball and softball start up in a few weeks, so the kids took it upon themselves to get some swings in. Ellie was working outside first, but Lukas quickly followed. Fun to see them outside working but also having fun.
