Day 4 - Wisconsin Dells to Milwaukee

Today was half water resort, half baseball linked by a drive from Wisconsin Dells to Milwaukee.

The boys were up early and getting in their last few water slides. Cesar and I packed up and we hit the road about noon.

Another easy drive through Wisconsin. Not much to see. We did drive by Madison, but not close enough to see much of anything. We arrived in Milwaukee, stayed about 5 minutes from the stadium -- close enough to see the top of the retractable dome from the hotel.

We went over early, took some photos along their Walk of Fame, grabbed some Brewers gear and found our seats down the 3rd base line. It was a packed house as it was a division rivalry against the Cubs, plus both teams entered the series tied for the division lead. 40,000+ in the stadium.

I was really impressed with the stadium. Good sight lines, great video board, just over all really fun. Around the 4th inning we went and ate in the restaurant that overlooks left field, so that was cool. Then we went back to our seats just in time to see Andrew Vaughn hit a grand slam for the Brewers.

Brewers won 9-2.

The biggest adventure may have been trying to get home. Since we took Lyft to get to the stadium, we could have just made it easy and taken Lyft back initially, but we've become e-scooter "experts" and came across 4 scooters in the parking lot. We grabbed those and went most of the way around the stadium, trying to make it back to our hotel, but we soon found out that there was an "area" that the scooters needed to stay in, otherwise they didn't work. They just shutdown. Well, we found the edge of the area, and it wasn't near our hotel. So we had to weave our way through traffic all the way back to the area where we first got the scooters, then had to walk to the Lyft pick up area. So we got nowhere on the scooters, but we did see most of the parking lots around the stadium. Live and learn.

We made it back to the hotel and now it's time to look at the plan for tomorrow. On to Chicago!
