Stephanie Kleinheinz Appointed New CEO of
The School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County

SAN JOSE, CA, March 27, 2015School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County today announced that its Board of Directors named Stephanie Kleinheinz the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer, effective May 1. She replaces Sue Lapp, who earlier this year announced her retirement.

Kleinheinz, 37, has been part of the School Health Clinics team for 8 years, the past seven as the Director of Clinical Services. During that time she was responsible for the daily operation of all five of the organization’s clinics. She led the implementation and upgrade of the electronic health records and practice management system, as well as attained designation in several federal programs such as Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) transformation and achieved Level II PCMH recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Kleinheinz earned her B.S. in Biomedical Science at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, and earned her Master’s degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Samuel Merritt College in Oakland, CA. She started her nursing career at Kaiser Permanente and worked in Critical Care for 9 years. She joined School Health Clinics as a Nurse Practitioner in 2008, for both the Washington and Gilroy Neighborhood Clinics. She was promoted to Director of Clinical Services in 2009.
